Being Creative

Anna is a lucky sister who gets to share her room with the new baby sister. We went shopping for her late birthday present which was a new bed spread set for her new room. There was a cute lamp she wanted but it was expensive so while she was staying with us we got crafty. Here is what we started with:

A $5.00 lamp and shade from the DI

Fabric that matches the window valance, spray paint, decorations

Here is the finished product! It is cuter than the one in the store. I did have to restrain Anna from to many jewels, she does like her bling! But I think she did a fabulous job and we had fun crafting.
