GSM = General Service Missionaries

Our missionary group during the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert with Natalie Cole and David McCullough. I hope you all got to see this special show (but then I haven't seen a church performance that is not good) Sunday after the last performance the special guests were presented with thankyou gifts, beautiful flowers and the program framed. President Monson said the five most important words "We are proud of you" and two important words "thank you" as he presented their thankyous. Natalie Cole said she has never performed where she felt the spirit so strong. She was crying as she thanked President Monson for all he had done and said the mormons were the finest group of people and she enjoyed her trip to Utah. McCullough said he was very grateful to have his wife included to be with him. He had her on stage after standing by him and she was presented the flowers. People in my scetion were in tears and the audience was very touched. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning.

The perfect Christmas Card

I bought the grandkids each a santa hat & I thought it would be fun to make a christmas card with Mike & I and the grandkids in their hats. It was kind of funny!

Today I got to babysit Jennifer!

Jenny: Grandma, I don't have a christmas stocking.

Grandma: Your mommy designed some to sew for you & your daddy.

Jenny: But she has not had time to sew them.

Grandma: Then lets play elf and finish them for her!

Jenny: I will be a good girl and play with my toys. I like to look at myself in the mirror.

Jenny: They are all my favorites! Mommy did a good job designing & she will be surprised what the elfs did!

The Story of 6 Happy Girls

Tara & Ashley are part of the "wardies" since they were born. They have been friends through school. They each had a baby a day apart. During Ben & Ashley's Thanksgiving visit they stopped by so their baby girls could meet each other. This is Annie & Jenny's first day of friendship! It was so fun to see them.

The saga of my camera

I have been without a camera since October when it was taken from a Marriot Condo. It is sad to loose the camera but I am still most upset about the loss of pictures and the camera cards. My pictures were not downloaded from halloween, the fall activities and our new grandbaby. I am so sad to have lost them and I had no camera for our Thanksgiving day pictures. So I went to the after Thanksgiving sale at 4:00 AM. My main objective was to get a camera and it was a successful trip. So no more whining, put the past behind and start learning to use my new camera! So tonight I will attempt to update my blog.

Our new baby Jennifer is 3 weeks already! Time flies when you are having fun and we have been having fun with Jenny. She is a doll!! I had fun making baby blankets for her and this quilt is my favorite that I finally finished this week. It is so cuddly.

I will have to admit I am a blog slacker, yes it is turning out much like journal writing - not real consistant. So much going on and the days & months go by so fast that this new addition to Cam & Tara has already had her two week check up! As you can see she is a doll and loved by everyone. Welcome

Our new calling .......

We have ventured out of our box and are guest service missionaries for temple square events. We work for events in the conference center and the tabernacle so far such as The Spoken Word, Conference, and other programs held there.

We are blessed with our 4th grandchild!

The Wonder of the Lake

By the time we got back down the clouds and lifted and the rest of the day was a beautiful sunny day.

Roasting Marshmellows in the Snow

I received a portable fire pit for christmas so we roasted marshmellow during the snowstorm.
